Organic cleaning products sold by Greenfibres are made by Sonett, who use biodynamic and organic ingredients that really work. Sonett cleansing products do not harm your skin or the environment. All surfactants are of plant origin and therefore 100% bio-degradable. They do not contain any synthetic preservatives, fragrances or dyes. They are 100% free from enzymes and petroleum-based ingredients. Their cleaning properties are derived from pure vegetable soap predominantly from bio-dynamically or organically grown plants. Fragrance is restricted to a few, non-allergenic essential certified organic or wild-crafted oils.
The inspiration for this range and its focus on the purity of ingredients stems from a deep respect for water as the basis, carrier, and embodiment of life - much of this based on the research by J. Schnorr who in the 1960's studied water quality in a holistic manner beyond just testing pollutants and residues. Electricity for the Sonett facility is generated by a hydro-electric plant nearby, heating is derived from a wood shaving incinerater of a sawmill which is part of a Camphill workshop sharing the same premises, and whose residents help with the packaging and labelling of the Sonett products. All packaging is recycled and/or recyclable.
